In this short video I’ll be briefly talking about two notes on the E-string, then putting them to use in a simple bassline.
This exercise uses the open E-string and the two new notes: F# and G. This is a continuous quarter note line, meaning that a note is played on every beat.
This exercise again uses the three notes we’re focusing on in this course. This time, we’ll also be using some half note rhythms.
This exercise introduces the quarter note rest, meaning that we won’t be playing on every beat.
This exercise also features the quarter note rest.
