1. Basic Fingerstyle Technique

This course covers the fundamentals of the fingerstyle technique. We’ll be learning how to play the strings here of course, but also how to mute the other strings – this is an important part of playing cleanly.

2. Basic Plectrum Technique

In this video we’ll be looking at the basics of the plectrum technique. I’ll be showing you how to hold the pick, and how to use it to play the strings.

3. Basic Fretting Hand Technique

Effective fretting hand technique is essential. With that in mind, in this course we’ll be looking at the basics of fretting a note, and two fretting systems: finger-per-fret and condensed fingering.
