If you’ve worked through all of the previous thirteen courses in this series, you’ll have made fantastic progress with the instrument, and you’ll hopefully be hungry for more. The next few courses will cover some important topics including a new method for tuning the bass, as well as strategies for learning the remaining notes on the fingerboard.

This lesson covers an alternative way to tune the bass, using harmonics. As you’ll discover, this method has some advantages over the fifth fret method.

2. Learning More of the Fingerboard (Part 1)

This lesson will demonstrate a method for learning the notes between frets 5 and 8. As you’ll discover, there is a certain amount of repetition of notes you already know.

3. Learning More of the Fingerboard (Part 2)

This lesson will demonstrate a method for learning the notes between frets 9 and 12. In also includes some exercises that will help you to memorise the notes.
