Two-handed tapping requires you to use the fingers on each hand in a very different way: rather than plucking the strings with one hand and fretting notes with the other, you will now be ‘tapping’ notes directly on the fretboard with each hand. This can be tricky at first since your fingers – particularly those on your picking hand – will not be used to working in this way.
The aim of this course is to get to you started with this technique using a series of warm-up and finger strengthening/dexterity workouts. Spending time on these exercises in the early stages of learning this technique will be a huge help when it comes to performing complex pieces later on.
