Fantastic! Review by Unknown Customer
'All those years ago it just seems so unfair that we had to spend so much time trying to work out and write down notation from listening to albums and singles, with trial and error when all we wanted to do was play. The frustration built up when your guitar playing mates were going down to 'Rose-Morris' music store or somewhere similar for complete transripts, and you were stuck at home with your half done notations... The first time round it was hearing Mark King, just like you. The second time round, after years of retiring the J.D. to its flightcase... It is now going to see the light of day again thanks to you. Right.. Let's tape the old thumb up and get practising...' (Posted on 9/18/09)

Wow, wow, wow!! Review by Unknown Customer
'Wow, wow, wow!!! This is truly hard to believe! I am lost for words! After all these years it is finally here. Not just complete detailed transcripts, but tablature and reference to actual playing techniques, all in one book!! You have taken bass playing from second class citizens to the aristocracy all in one clean swoop. Please someone tell me I haven't died and gone to heaven. For me these books aren't about one particular playing technique, 'slap', but about musicianship, technical ability, creativity and application. Whether it's Mark King, Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius or Marcus Miller and even for that matter, Boon Gould.. Who??!! No - seriously, what they all have in common is that they are all great musicians, with great technical ability, and this is what these books represents to me. You truly deserve all the credit!'
