'Wow, wow, wow!!! This is truly hard to believe! I am lost for words! After all these years it is finally here. Not just complete detailed transcripts, but tablature and reference to actual playing techniques, all in one book!! You have taken bass playing from second class citizens to the aristocracy all in one clean swoop. Please someone tell me I haven't died and gone to heaven. For me these books aren't about one particular playing technique, 'slap', but about musicianship, technical ability, creativity and application. Whether it's Mark King, Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius or Marcus Miller and even for that matter, Boon Gould.. Who??!! No - seriously, what they all have in common is that they are all great musicians, with great technical ability, and this is what these books represents to me. You truly deserve all the credit!'
