I Just wanted to let you know I got my TBNH book and it's AWESOME. Not that I was expecting anything less. Everything is so clearly notated and easy to read. One thing you do in your books that I love, is that you actually dot notes that should be staccato. Hardly anyone every does this and it forces me to listen really carefully to the recording to see what notes are really staccato and which ones are held out. With your books, I can just read them right off the page and learn them correctly without having to analyze the recording in great detail. I just don't have time for that! I actually started to transcribe this record many years go but only finished parts of a few tunes. Your effort is appreciated and it's pure gold. I'm so glad I got my copy of Funk Disco bass before it was unavailable here. Anyway, I can't wait to see what you do next.
