The new book Zander Zon – Sonorous Bass Transcriptions is now available to buy!

We’re very pleased to announce that the next book to be released will be Zander Zon – Sonorous Bass Transcriptions. This book will be a complete set of transcriptions from Zander’s debut album Sonorous. Many of you will know Zander from his series of YouTube solo bass videos, so we’re really excited to be getting this book out. You can read more about the book here.

We are pleased to be stocking the new album from legendary bassist Stuart Hamm, ‘Just Outside of Normal’.

The audio files for the Scales & Modes book have now been uploaded. You can download them free of charge by logging in and clicking on the FREE Stuff link on the menu. Once there, you’ll see the link for the zip file next to the cover image. Download the zip file, unzip it and you’ll find two folders: one has audio files with basslines, the other is the same tracks but minus the bass, for you to practice along to. Enjoy!

The new book The Bass Player’s Guide to Scales & Modes is on sale now!

We are pleased to be stocking the debut album from solo bassist Aram Bedrosian. Aram is one of the world’s finest contemporary solo bassists and this album is a showcase for both his technical mastery and his compositional skills! Check it out under the CDs menu.

The next book to be released will be ‘The Bass Player’s Guide to Scales & Modes’. The book is now finished and is in the proofing stage. The release date is tentatively scheduled for Monday 7th March 2011. The book will also be on sale at the London Bass Guitar Show.
